(Suite in five movements "Fancy Shapes")
Work is currently underway on a new piece created for a very exciting collaboration for guitar and double bass — an artistically unusual pairing that opens up fresh colors, textures, and dialogue between the instruments.
The project explores contrasting registers and timbres, balancing intimate chamber detail with broader, resonant sonorities.

Suite in five movements "Fancy Shapes"
A studio recording is currently in progress for a newly composed work for oboe and guitar: a three-movement suite written in a virtuosic folk spirit, drawing on Ukrainian traditional tunes.
The provisional release and public premiere are planned for April–May 2026.

About a year ago, a suite of ten short pieces for solo guitar titled “Graffiti” was composed, inspired by the street art and murals of Brussels. The music follows a lighter, swinging, jazz-influenced character, written in memory of Leonard Bernstein.
The project has reached its final production stage: the studio recording and mixing of all ten movements are complete. The virtual album is scheduled for release on January 30, with public premiere performances planned to follow.

This recording project documents a work for English horn and guitar (“Folk Tunes”), inspired by melodic material and stylistic elements of Western Ukrainian folk tradition.
The recording was made on 16 May 2025 at Zwaluwhoeve, in close collaboration with English horn player Khrystyna Korchynska, with a focus on balance, articulation, and chamber interaction.
The suite consists of three movements (“Carol”, “Song”, “Haivka”). The session was recorded by Gaston Matthijsse. Guitar part performed by Oleg Boyko.
